Bills Story page 13
"My friend promised when these things were doneI would enter upon a new relationship with my creator;that I would have the elements of a way living which answered all my problems. Belief in the power of God,plus enough willingness, honesty and humility to establish and maintain the new order of things, were the essential requirements."

I am promised a better, mmore fulfilled life if I follow the path in AA. Bill basically says this in his story and in writes this in our Daily Refection here. It's not that I'm in my dream relationship or in my dream house, etc. but instead of always reacting in such a volcanic way (like I certainly used to) I have learned some patience. I have learned honesty, and have been and hoefully still am, willing to go further. Is this all abstract? No, I don't think so...When plans fell through in the past, I would get downright depressed and probably cry. Really! Or when I didn't have enough money, I felt trapped and couldn't move. I felt unfulfilled all the time. I was unsatisfied with my and Life in general. Now, after many years, I am pretty darn happy with what I have. With what I have BORROWED for this life on earth. I know that sounds hokey, but As Bill says, I need honesty and open mindedness and hopefully you/I have the willingness to see our world as something that is fleeting and should, therefore, be enjoyed. So, over the years, I apologize more when I am at fault, appreciate more, fight a lot less and believe my idea of God is working in my life for all ggod. May we all grow today and every day as we learn together on our happy road called Life!
